Fabulous food, for the best experience, ask for the walk-in bar seats as you get to see the kitchen working. Brilliant wine choices and coffees were strong and smooth.

It has taken almost two years - lockdown and all that - for us to find a restaurant that makes us feel like we have a small part of London in Sowerby Bridge of all places. Great service, ridiculously good taste, and superb quality… 🍱 If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Ate all the food before we could snap a photograph!! Lovely atmosphere. We sat in front of the kitchen, bit too close to the door, but was interesting to watch the kitchen staff. If I could nick-pick on anything from a business perspective, it would be seeing the cooks browse their mobile phones here and there whilst in between service - but that is being really fussy! We were not offered a wine menu and the paper napkins are a small letdown. But being super fussy as I was so impressed by the place, I want it to be even better! The table staff were excellent. We ordered 10+ dishes for 2 adults and one child. Two drinks each = £90. An absolute bargain. Wish I could have sampled all the plates… I will be coming back many times! (April 2023) Returned again with my 11 year old son for an Easter treat. We love it there. The pork belly, anchovies and chorizo are lovely. The cauliflower dish was lovely - great for vegetarians - but not for me. Heart and Soul (Vocation) on tap 🍺 too. Parking 🅿️ immediately outside if anyone needs to know.

Excellent small plate (mostly bigger than your average tapas) restaurant hosted my efficient friendly staff Our host knew his stuff and his recommendations for food and drink were spot on Everything we had was well considered, well executed and tasty. My only piece of advice would be to plan your meal. The menu has distinct Asian influenced, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean elements. We ordered everything that sounded nice, which led to a slightly disjointed feast. Decide on a basic theme and try to stick to it 3 greedy, thirsty fellas spent just over £55 per head including tip, very reasonable The best Sticky Toffee Pudding I have ever, ever had

Absolutely fantastic tapas restaurant. Such a diverse choice at reasonable prices... we will visit again, as we want to try all the dishes on the menu (sadly we do not live closer & only tried 5 dishes - which were all amazing). The decor is very cool, the staff are excellent, the chef and his team are non stop in the open kitchen. The result.... a fantastic culinary experience, the dishes were served singularly, which gave the feel of a taster menu. First class. Thanks you. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the bar, overlooking the kitchen, we saw the adept cookery, relentless hard work first hand. Plus, we were given recommendations of the premium dishes to order. Top drawer experience. A must do in the region.

If you haven’t eaten here yet you must. You have to book far out in advance to find a spot but it’s worth Super super high end food with amazing flavours with lots of layers Good wine selection and the Alhambra lager is honestly one of the tastiest pints I’ve had. Service here is always top notch and everyone are always friendly and welcoming

A great meal. We were well looked after by the staff. This is a small plates restaurant of which you can order as you go. Book well in advance as this is a busy place

A fabulous restaurant... Just don't tell everyone 🤫 I always feel a bit torn when writing a review for a good restaurant... If it's really good I want to be able to get a table within a 3 month window! Jokes aside we had a wonderful meal at Engine tonight. One member of our party is lactose intolerant and the restaurant has a specific vegan and lactose menu.. Great work you guys. It's always such a worry eating out when you are concerned about the ingredients of everything.. Tonight we didn't need to worry. Lovely food, really friendly and prompt service. We will be back.. Hopefully within a 3 month window!

The food is awesome. This is a tapas restaurant where each dish is prepared in a particular way that makes it quite unique. Service is great and prices are very good. Highly recommended.
