Lovely food, would highly recommend and will visit again. However, to make this place more inviting, I would recommend the restaurant cleaning up the stairs and sorting the dead flowers because this is not a true representation of how lovely the restaurant is. A must visit in St Albans for wonderful food and great service!

We booked The Loft for a big family lunch to welcome our new baby boy to the extended family. The team were very supportive and flexible in helping us make all of the arrangements - very budget friendly and great quality too. Would highly recommend for a large group booking!

We had our wedding reception at the Loft and had a wonderful time. The food and service were great and Claudio and his team were very accommodating. A great venue for a small reception.

Went christmas Eve. Food was amazing, and so was the service, but then we were the only ones in the restaurant. The atmosphere suffered as it was sooo quiet....bit too quiet. I would still recommend it, and I would return.

We held our wedding reception get together and dinner at the Loft and it was just perfect. Claudio gave us the freedom to plan the day how we wanted to and provided us with great ideas and input to help us with the planning. The food was excellent, the staff were attentive and the venue was beautiful. A fantastic flexible venue. Thank you.

Visited Loft with my wife yesterday evening and will definitely return. The food was excellent and the staff were very courteous and attentive. We had a complimentary glass of Champagne for our wedding anniversary which was a complete surprise and added that personal touch.

Beautiful oak-beamed, single room loft space at the back of a short alley off George Street, so a little tucked away. Went for Sunday lunch on the late May Bank Holiday and had a lovely meal. I had the burrata followed by roast beef; both generous portion sizes, quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. The other three members of our group were equally satisfied with their choices.
Service was friendly and efficient whereas other reviewers have found it a little slow. The restaurant wasn’t full at the time of our visit, maybe as it was a lovely sunny day and others preferred to eat outside. Personally we preferred this cooler, bright & airy indoor space.
