Very friendly staff with a cosy and warm ambience. The brownie with vanilla gelato is just filled with chocolate so perfect dish for those dessert lovers like me.
Eclectic building and decor - loved the aesthetic! Employees were friendly and our server was very good! Food was delicious and bountiful. We had eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, pancakes, Mediterranean breakfast platter. Would recommend them all! Farm fresh eggs too. We stopped there directly from LHR before we were able to stop at lodging and they were super kind about us having a few small bags with us. Would recommend & hope to return someday!
This was my first time eating at Bill's. The food was exactly what I expected. It was pub-ish fare but it was fresh and hot.
The servers were extremely friendly and attentive! I'd go back just for that. Great night with friends made better with great service and food.
Was on a day trip to St Albans, had not been to a Bills for over 12 months. Really happy with the food selection on offer, staff were friendly, food was tasty, hot and fresh.
Also do blue light discount which is a bonus for those eligible.
Overall had a great meal
Food was prompt and of great quality. My burger was crispy and moist. The buns were toasted so the slaw and tomatoe didn't make it soggy. The semmi spicey mayo was the icing on the cake, it complemented the whole dynamic of the burger. Additionally, the home made slaw was not super runny and not dredged in mayo so that it can accent the mayo properly. The fries were hot. The seasoning could be better but that doesn't take anything away from how good it was. This was a lunch time meal and service was good. Check backs could have been quicker and more thorough. It would be interesting to see how well the place does when it's busy on a Friday night and if the quality of the food holds up to the inner pressure of the dinner rush etc.
Overall great food and a great place to dine. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger.... "I'll be back"
Been here a few times in the past and never overwhelmed by the food or service….But went in recently and was delighted to be served by smart , well spoken, polite, helpful staff… it was so refreshingly different from other places…… so well done all the staff at Bill’s !!

Absolutely fantastic! We were re-seated to accommodate a friend in a leg cast, with no fuss. Shown the accessible toilet too. Food was fantastic, dessert was out of this world and I cant wait to come back to eat more. All of the people that served our drinks and food were friendly and attentive. The venue is gorgeous too, lots of character and I'd like to sit at every table!! Highly recommended.
Very relaxed atmosphere.
Good food although we had to wait, we was advised of this before we was seated.
There was a slight issue with one of the dishes but quickly rectified.
Toilets nice and clean, they were upstairs.
Enjoyed food would go back again.

We complain about our meal that the meat came very hard and well done (we order medium) and She changed the plate without any problems and gave us a credit on our bill!

I was greeting by a lovely lady called Jamie she really looked after me and the food was amazing. All the staff were so attentive and so friendly. Definitely going back there with the kids :-)
