Absolutely amazing little place with great atmosphere and the food is absolutely amazing. They get very busy which in itself is testament to how good the food is, we didn't boom and ended up sitting outside in the beer garden. The food arrived quite quickly and was hot, the portion size was quite big and the food was fresh. I would definitely recommend trying this place.
Great place really lives up to the good reviews. Staff super friendly and professional. Lots of choice of food and drink. Food very good value for the price l, lots of seating area and a decent sized car park. Not something I'd normally mention on a review but the men's toilets have been renovated in the past couple of years by the looks of it and are some of the cleanest modern ones I've seen for a pub! Overall super impressed and worth a visit for a drink or some food if in the area!!
Went for lunch with my wife 21st September 22 on the recommendation of our granddaughter.
The menu was varied and there was a specials board too. We chose the hot Beef and Onion baguette served with chips and a pot of gravy, which was delicious. The chips looked pale but they were moresome, fluffy potato on the inside with a lovely crunch on the outside and plenty of them.
The baguette was warm and filled with plenty of warm lean beef and onion, yummy. Even giving a shout out for the gravy, I dipped my chips and the wife her baguette.
There's a vast selection of beers behind the bar but as we were driving I had coffee and wife had water.
Will definitely be going back again, highly recommended.
