Friendly staff at time of visit. Order prompt. The starter plate was recommended and didn't really enjoyed it, so switch to a desert for the same price. Got the desert on the house and the started cancelled from my bill. Will definately take the family there in the near future when in the area again.

Did not stay at the hotel, as we are local, but visit the restaurant frequently. Service is always great, but food seems to be a bit of hit and miss. While the fish chips were excellent the last ten we were there, the pie I ordered could have been better. It was little over seasoned. Variety of beverage is quite good.

This is a regular favourite for us, for food and for the hotel. The rooms are great, with everything you need. The menu and food are good and the service is wonderful. We had my mum's 90th birthday here this week and they treated us so well, and made the occasion very happy for us all. The only thing I can fault is that they have high speed electric vehicle chargers in the car park, but not one that fits our car (Type 2). Given that not many car parks have chargers at all, that doesn't lose them any stars!
