Can’t fault this small family-run cafe in the heart of Civic. I’m an omelette guy for breakfast; good omelette and good coffee and I’m happy and these guys deliver in spades. They open early, the staff are tremendous and it has a really nice vibe. Do yourself a favour and try The Bearded Bean.

The food tasted average and needs improvement. But the service was good. I’d ordered scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms on the side which were very less in quantity and upon asking, they resolved the issue. Massive shoutout to Monica for being so kind and assisting! Will visit again

The coffee is so good. Service is wonderful. Staff are so lovely and friendly. Food is great too. The queue is sometimes long but they still manage to get through it pretty quick.
