Staithes is a lovely little idyllic harbour village. Some lovely shops , art gallery and pubs. Easy walk to the harbour.
On the way back we stopped at Dotty's Tea Room for snack.
Opted for a cream tea and weren't disappointed.
The scone was cooked fresh and was tasty.
All in all a pleasant experience and look forward to returning.

Absolutely adored Dotty's Vintage Tearoom. I stopped for tea and delicious homemade cake after a 6 hour drive, was delicious. Wonderful seating area out the front. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had to return a couple of days later for some breakfast before the drive home. I look forward to visiting again next time I'm lucky enough to be in the area. Thank you, my visits to you really brightened my stay in Staithes.
This cafe is a real quirky treat. We popped in for coffee and cake and the end of the day. The cake was delicious. I had two cups of tea as the first one I spilled over myself. The staff were really nice and friendly. I loved the ambience of the cafe. There is seating inside and outside. I will be back again before my holiday break is up.
Dived in to escape the rain! What a happy find - cakes and crumpets, delicious! I had a decadent bounty hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows yum!
We got a table at the back and it soon filled up - very popular! Lovely decor with a vintage feel. Friendly staff, service with a smile 😊
One of the best B&B's I've ever been to. The rooms are immaculate and located in the best part of Staithes. The best thing about it though is Trudie, the owner. She is a wonderful person and will do anything to make your stay a happy one.
My best friend and I have just stayed for a 3 night stay and we could not have asked for a better experience. The room was amazingly quaint...and plenty of room as friends sharing, the breakfast was AMAZING!!...the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and Trudie couldn't do enough for us!! The living area is immaculate...was so sad to leave will definitely be back...oh and the food 5*****
This lovely, cosy tearoom is amazing! The choice of food is extensive and the coffee is second to none, the vintage interior is comfortable and cozy but, what really makes it the place to visit, is the relaxed pace as soon as you walk through the door.
Having just returned from a very enjoyable cruise recently, we attended a music event in DOTTY’S on a Saturday evening. It was an absolutely fabulous night and one we actually enjoyed even more than been on the cruise, certainly more memorable. Can’t wait to return very soon
Dotty's Tea room was pure joy,the staff were very friendly and attentive,on our first visit we had fruit scone,clotted cream and jam,with a pot of tea,absolutely delicious,we were even asked if we would like the scone warm,we did.❤The next day we returned and had a luxury hot chocolate,in a good size China cup/mug Perfect !!!! and finally the best Bakewell slice I have ever had.If you ever visit Staithes Dottys tea room is a must you won't be disappointed.
Very friendly and welcoming service in a cosy tea room. Great sandwiches and top notch cake!
A lovely little tea shop with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff and good choice of snacks and light bites. A good place to rest your legs when climbing either up or down the very steep hill to the harbour.
