A beautiful pub, steeped in history, just a few minutes walk from Richardson's Marina, behind the Tesco's (which you'll be visiting for provisions anyway).
Friendly,welcoming team, and the court yard with heated gazebos and stables (converted with private tables) is stunning.
Make it a visit, you'll love it.

Very nice pub, everyone there were very friendly which sometimes isn't the case in pubs! I think it helped that we had a puppy, who was also more than welcome. Staff were lovely and food was amazing.

Went here for a meal with neighbours and enjoyed good and above average food and beer. Service was excellent and full of life and happiness! However I was very disappointed that no Adams winter ale was on offer at this time of year and as advertised. The bonus of the evening was the band playing "The Hot Crumbs" really good. Unfortunately we weren't expecting a band so had to leave early as had other commitments which was very disappointing!

In my experience, this pub is unique. You will find true Norfolk hospitality, excellent food and beer. Dog owners will be thrilled, well-behaved dogs are treated like celebrities and made very welcome. Booking is essential in the summer season and there are heated weather proof booths in the garden and two barns for larger parties that want space for themselves. If you only visit one pub on your holiday, make it this one you will not be disappointed.
