Surma is my favourite Indian take-away in Stevenage. I have been using it on and off for years. The food is very good with very generous portions at an affordable price. The place itself is very small with just enough room to wait for your order but it is pleasant and fine as a take away location. You can order online and collect or have delivered.

This is the only place in the area you should be heading to for your Indian takeaway! Award winning food because it tastes so good. I've eaten most of the menu and everything is great. Recommend Rosuni mushrooms.

I think the best Indian food in Stevenage. The chefs specials are superb. I have only collected - the food has always been on time, correct and not. Depending on the time and day, the parking in Old Town can be ridiculously difficult (e.g imagine driving around for 10 minutes to find a space). I don’t understand the comment about all dishes being the same - very far from it. I would always go for Surma in spite of the parking shortages.

Have been using Surma for many years now. The food is consistently amazing with a lot of choice. Side dishes are prepared with as much care and attention as the award winning main dishes. I’ve never had a bad experience with this takeaway and feel confident this will continue long into the future. Don’t order from anywhere else if you’re looking for a great Indian takeaway.
