I had never been to Harvesters and after a day of shopping decided to stop with my husband for dinner. The food was really nice, and I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a free salad and roll bar! But what made the whole scene was Adam, who was an absolute gem in making sure the food my husband ordered was vegan, even making sure to check with the chef multiple times before we placed our orders. He was such a sweetheart and so patient as we made our choices, and was so pleasant to talk to. If we were to come again it would be for the food but also definitely to see Adam!

Great service from John the barman, always a pleasure and he’s always friendly! Had to ask chefs name to pass compliments on as the meals were fantastic, my mums steak was cooked to perfection and that’s really saying something as she’s an harsh critic. In her words “absolutely stunning!” - so please pass on many thanks to Millie the chef!

We took our grandchildren, who both suffer from anxiety, it’s the first time they have come to a Harvester, the waiter Adam was lovely and made the time spent pleasant, the kids were very good although I did take things to occupy there time, it would have been nice if you had colouring for all children as this was something my grandchild did ask for, I thought you had them once before and had to explain you had run out, over all the whole time there was a very warming and lovely experience. Thank you.

Went to the Harvester for dinner tonight at 8pm. The food was great (both mains and dessert). The triple rocky horror waffle was amazing. We had the most amazing server named Adam, so kind and was dedicated to making sure we got the best service. Would 100% recommend.

The service was fantastic from the moment we walked in and were greeted with a smile. Staff seated us in the perfect place without having to be asked with my son's special needs taken into consideration. The girl who served us was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. We had an excellent meal and I will definitely visit again.

Went for lunch yesterday and honestly it was the best experience I have ever had at a Harvester. The food was on point and the salad bar looked fresh and topped up regularly. Loving the lunch time menu as well. Special shout out to Adam, our waiter, who was by far and away the best waiter I have ever had, regardless of establishment.

In brief. Food mostly above the normal and really good, just did not enjoy the veggie sausages as much as I have else where. My partner had the breakfast and she was very pleased, she commented on the Bacon 🥓 particularly and was very impressed. The outstanding part of our visit, which would bring us back was the server...she was just exceptionally friendly and not overly friendly like some...not pushy let's say. She was a tall black woman with an accent French maybe?? (description as I forgot her name oops) If someone wrote a book and it was in how a waitress or server or someone bringing you food, she would be the model. Really maximised my experience. Oh and it was an average price for 2 people, like 18£ or something.

For a cheap meal the lunch deal was very nice and filling. The staff were polite and friendly. What lets it down is that the building needs a face lift. It needs a coat of paint on the outside and the inside, while clean, needs to be updated.

I consider myself a bit of a foodie although not a professional by any means. I have to say that my meal here (bird, surf & turf) was amazing. Best steak I have had in a long time, even rivals some that I have had in the states that were grilled by pit masters. The chicken also was so moist yet still captures the chargrilled flavour which so many end up dry & chewy. Despite being full, it left me wishing I could eat it again. Can't praise this place & it's chef enough

Our waiter Adam was AMAZING. My daughter has an allergy and honestly he was great at explaining everything. The whole table was impressed with the level of service, he was friendly, accommodating and its so hard to come by staff who are as exceptional. The food was average, burger bun was stale etc. But Adam was great!
