A wonderful afternoon spent at the Jolly Sailor celebrating a family members 90th birthday. The whole experience was 10/10. The food, the service was exceptional. All 28 of our party had a terrific time. Our server Faye was exceptional. You will thoroughly enjoy the ambience, the food, the drink and the prices are so reasonable. Absolutely recommend.

Very busy, which made it a vibrant atmosphere. My fish pie was very good and my friend loved her meal, which I think was a Mediterranean pie ... apparently the pastry was delicious. The serving staff were brilliant, but the deputy general manager, who is at present a Fletcher's Arms orphan, was very attentive! :-) The beer selection looked quite eclectic too, which I like. You have to have variation!

This was the best carvery I have had in ages. The quality of the food was second to none. The meat melted in your mouth, the vegetables were perfectly done, the gravy delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cost quite amazing. Recommend to everyone and we'll be back next time we're up north.
