Belllini's Italian Restaunt.

Very good dining experience here. I enjoyed a starter of deep fried squid, aubergine, white bait and prawns with a tartare sauce, followed by a juicy, medium-rare, rib-eye steak with a genovese sauce, hand made fired and seasonal vegetables. The staff were pleasant, courteous and polite and attended to us at all the right times. The wait from starter to mains was perfectly timed and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

First visit. Will write more next time. Food was lovely (photos posted). Service was a little slow (observation, not a complaint). This MAY be down young and new staff?? There were a few birthday parties that wouldn't have helped. Service from the more mature or experienced staff was brilliant. Very helpful and humorous. Will return.

Currently writing this review as I am so bored sat in here. Had our starters, garlic bread in plain, cheese and tomato and they were lovely - however service is very very slow we have been here almost two hours and only just eaten our starters. The place is very busy and loud, they are turning tables out but neglecting tables already seated. Staff are ok not very friendly but not horrible either. Would recommend going at off peak hours. Edit - Main course eventually arrived and it was lovely just a shame about the service.

A suprise as some people wrote not good things, well, have the Pillow funghi, stuffed with sweet sun-dried tomatoes and spinach ricotta, served with choice 2 side dishes, washed down with couple chilled blush pinot grigio,,very very satisfied! Natalie was very helpful n even stayed behind a bit whilst we chatted, Definitely my new eating place!
