The Calverts Court

Weatherspoons at calverts Court has a really nice atmosphere and can get very busy at the weekends. They have a nice range of drinks with seating outside both the front and rear and plenty of inside seating. The food is generally OK and there is a decent disabled toilet with enough space to safely manoeuvre a wheelchair. The majority of the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Ordered two burgers with chips and a soft drink for a fiver each! Helpful and friendly staff brought me condiments and were super happy even though we moved to more comfortable seats. Also ordered a hot chocolate and the hot chocolate machine wasn't working so I was brought a galaxy hot chocolate sachet - I couldn't be happier. Fantastic service, great staff, great atmosphere what more could you want. Special thanks to Peter and Steve for looking after us both.

I went to this wetherspoons yesterday the food was fantastic yesterday i had 10oz gammon with jacket potatoe and my mother mix grill very nice and credit to the chef who was on duty approximately 5pm 1 of the waiters was outstanding rushing around doing everything a credit only downfall was i orderd a sirloin on the 17/08/2023 at about 6.00pm and the order was at least 35 minutes hardly anyone eating so why the delay the food was cold steak was poor and the shift worsened since we had been in since 2.00pm before we are not people who complain but it was as if the chef had gone home and the people who were left couldnt cope with cooking very sorry and shame but yesterday service excellent 1 star chef and 1 star waiter

Tuesday 15th August 2023 We visited the weatherspoons today. The pub was a good, well-kept pub with a massive long room to drink and eat in This pub was well looked after gull of usual weatherspoon users The staff were ace eould have got 5 stars if the atmosphere today was better some locals a bit non friendly let me say!!!
