We had a great Sunday lunch here with family last week. My husband really enjoyed the roast beef and my daughter and I had a delicious sundried tomato risotto. Very good service, a relaxed atmosphere and nicely presented fine food. The menu is small but well chosen and reasonably priced. Will certainly go again!

We discovered this through the Manchester Confidentials app - nice 20 min drive from centre of Manchester. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and was a nice, warm retreat on a cold night. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Great value, good quality meat (I had the lamb rump) and our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Went for a casual Tuesday dinner. Lovely wine and really tender and delicious sirloin steak! The service was great and the setting was very relaxed and inviting. Didn’t realise they have only been open 4 weeks but they deserve every success! Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. Had a delicious spicy tomato soup and a very tasty piece of lamb. We were a party of eight, celebrating a birthday, and the general consensus was very much a positive one. Small let down with a botched treacle tart, but that wouldn't stop me coming back.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here prior to lockdown. Good service and atmosphere. I had the sea bass baked in paper which was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Our meals were delicious and priced fairly. I had a lamb shank and mashed potatoes that were to die for. The service was great. Highly recommended 😁

The food was delicious really good steaks but was spoilt by poor service I was waiting 5 minutes before anyone even came and gave me menus and the waitress seemed clearly uninterested in us and it was only a job she had to do! It’s a shame because the owner was really pleasant last time we were there but he will lose business with service like we had

Food superb. Would go back again. Chose two bottles of wine which they hadn't got. Offered a superior bottle at reduced price
