Nanny Gs Tearooms

Went for afternoon tea with my sister we were only ones booked in at that time a young girl ( who is a student ) set out our table and asked if we wud like everything served together or separate we opted for everything together OMG the food kept on coming and coming. We had 4 different varieties of finger sandwiches and there was plenty!! Followed by fruit and cheese scones with butter clotted cream and jam. The cheese scones were amazing and warm. We then had the biggest strawberry tarts i've ever seen and chocolate brownies followed by a large slice of cake of yor choice served with pour on cream. WOW wot a treat the young girl cud not be more polite or helpful AND the chef came out with extra tea and was very pleasant and asked if everything was ok U GOTTA EAT HERE!!!! The only downside was my sister and i had barely any cash between us and we both felt the tip we left did not match the service we received SO SORRY !!! OH we got a free glass of prosecco to help them getting thier booze licsence AND they have homemade crafts to sell as well 10 out of 10

This traditional café / tea room is the best we've ever come across amazing breakfast lunches and superb afternoon tea (book in advance as it's very popular ). Always a warm welcome from Nanny G. Check out the amazing furniture and crafts available for sale. The homemade cakes have to be seen and sampled to be believed.
