Was looking for something different from the usual chains and liked what was on menu. I wasn't hopeful as the place didn't look great but even on a Tuesday night it had a good atmosphere. We'll, the food was brilliant I had the ribs as a starter, the portion would have been good as a main course, they were fantastic.I then had the chilli, it was truly homemade and truly delicious. Give it a try it will surprise you
A great bar and atmosphere with a great range of drinks. The cocktails are especially good!!! The staff and management are friendly and helpful and there is a good mix of clientele which always makes for a fabulous night.

Excellent modern bar, friendly staff, great music and atmosphere along with the best drinks in town! What more could you ask for the pickle is a must for those who haven’t already been.

Love the place . Great tunes , great staff , brilliant atmosphere . Once I’m there , that’s it , I’m there for the night . Nowhere else gets a look in .

What a change from the old Lola’s , modern , sophisticated & an asset to the decent folk of the North East . Excellent DJ’s & the place is buzzin also fab venue for private functions .
