Great place for socialising not just for gambling. Staff are great and good food also. We are going for our Wedding Anniversary Xmas Dinner and probably for New Year's Eve.

Went for a managers dinner (which was very nice) and live music on Saturday night with my wife. The singer was Alex Hall (you can find him on Facebook) We have been to a few of these functions now at the casino. Unfortunately because of the layout of the restaurant and stage, they are not near each other, so you can hear the singer, but not see him whilst you dine, which is a shame. However on this occasion Alex was fantastic and left the stage to "croon" amongst us whilst we ate. Great choice of songs too! So 5* for that "cabaret" feel Alex. Top man👍👍👍 we'll be back.

We had great night and although there is a lot of new staff they had obviously been trained well. Grosvenor should be proud of the staff at the casino in Sunderland

Was here 1 night a few months ago with my son, I had a big win just over a £1000, He was down about £600, He was really jealous of me winning and we ended up fighting, So I gave him a black eye. Overall it was a great night out. We will be going back very soon.

Went for the food/cinema deal recently.
It's £12 pp for a meal, drink and a cinema ticket, Couldn' fault the food and the deal but we ordered some onion rings as an extra without seeing the price and was charge £4.50 for them! Bit extortionate for 6 onion rings in my eyes!
I would definitely return for the deal though as it's good value.
