We attended the Mela which is now under new management for a birthday party. We were a large table of 18. The staff were polite and really nice to the kids. They helped us find two extra seats when there was a mix up with the booking. They were expecting 16 of us.
The food was delicious. Maybe the one of the tastiest dishes I have tried from an Indian restaurant. The garlic naan bread was lovely too, full of flavour. Drink service was fast and the food came out with good spaces in between each course.
From the 18 of us.. There was not one complaint or issue. That's a tricky skill for any restaurant. 😊

The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly looking young man who made us feel welcomed and directed us to a cozy corner table with a window view (downstairs).
When it comes to food, I have just one word "WOW!" And this time, even two of my boys agreed with my taste bud. My family and I have many reasons to revisit Mela soon.

Another amazing curry from Porimol at Mela. Excellent food as always. If you like a great curry and you haven’t yet eaten at Mela then you really should!
If it’s wife’s birthday, it has to be a special place....... decided Mela with few reviews from friends... 😊Wife and Son were very excited as we planned dinner in a hotel after a long time...🌸Indian food is ofcourse anytime favorite, Restaurant is Authentic Indian cuisine ... very good service.. good ambience... greeted us very well, quick service, was always smiling n helping us to decide the food.. did customize for our choice. Charles was really nice person in Mela who took care of us. Myself, Wife n Son felt happy about the whole experience. 100% a good place. Surely will visit again.

Great service. Nice ambiance. Good food. Lamb Biriyani gets top marks for taste, a generous portion, but a bit sparse with the lamb I'm afraid.
