Went here today with my elderly mum who was in a wheelchair. Was a beautiful garden to visit and the owner was particularly helpful to us. As there were a couple of gravel paths at the start, this made wheelchair access hard. For leaving, he opened their gates to allow me to reverse my car in, so we wouldn't struggle with mum in her chair. He was very friendly and so was the man in tea room. You must try their home made cakes as they were delicious!!

Pleasantly surprised. Had a very nice broccoli and stilton soup from the tea room and then took a walk around the gardens, which were well kept and larger than I expected. Lots of variety and some nice little walks and good quiet spots with plenty of seating. Well worth the £5 entry.

Lovely little nursery and the open gardens are very pretty with lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view. We had lunch in the tearoom, one homemade veg soup with a sandwich and one jacket potato with a pot of tea. The food was delicious and provided by a lovely gentleman.

Spent a lovely few hours exploring the open gardens, tea room and plant nursery. The gardens go around the back of the house and there are various paths to follow between the beds and borders, leading to little follies and benches. For an open garden they were bigger than I expected. A real plant’s persons garden with some inspired planting schemes and groupings. The owners were warm and welcoming. We had a person of limited mobility in our party and were provided with a wheel chair and advice on the best way to get around the garden. The tea room was friendly and the food tasty and well presented. I am a real plant lover and have been looking for several plants on my plant list, both online and at garden centres and nurseries local to myself, for a few months without success The owner of the Goltho Gardens nursery was able to provide all of the plants that I was looking for, I was also able to buy some of the plants that I’d seen in their planting schemes in the gardens. The owner was knowledgeable and friendly. The plants were all good quality and good value for money. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!! Can’t wait to visit again!

A Garden For All Seasons Really enjoyed exploring this garden and seeing all the many, varied and interesting plants on display. Not huge but good for a leisurely stroll around. Lovely display of daffs, Narcissus, hellebores and other early Spring plants out at the moment. Would definitely visit this garden again during later seasons to see other plants, peonies, roses, etc at their best. Nice little nursery with range of good quality plants. Very good little cafe with lovely choice of cakes.. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff and great service in the cafe. Both can be visited anytime without paying entry for the gardens. Do not speed past this little gem on the way.to Skeg without stopping by.

Absolutely stunning place. I spent a good 2 hours or more wandering around the garden watching the various wildlife go about their business. Had a cup of tea in the cafe too.
