Lovely food and fantastic service!
We called into the cafe for breakfast and stayed for hours, as there was so much to keep the kids entertained, whilst the grown ups chatted. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts were delicious and great value for money. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following day for brunch. In the park there is a play frame and other outdoors toys. Also they have a bouncy castle and a little caravan for kids to play in. The kids had a blast!

We stopped on the way back from Tallington lakes with 4 adults, 4 children and a dog. One of the friendliest cafes you will stop at, the staff and owners couldn't have done any more for us, the children or the dog with everyone being well fed (including the the dog who received a surprise bowl of food!). If you stop by, look out for the Victoria Sponge and Carrot cake, freshly made and not to be missed.
Really friendly atmosphere and tasty, well portioned and reasonably priced food.

Kids had a great time at the Halloween lunch today. They loved carving their own pumpkins 🎃 tucking into their pizza lunch 🍕 and the pumpkin soup was delicious. Thank you 🎃👻👀☠👿

Great fried egg and bacon sandwich, times four, we enjoyed freshly cut potato chips and two large mugs of steaming coffee.
As always the welcome was warm and genuine, all staff act in unison like one big successful family offering a human face.
No request too much and they offer warm fresh bead, cake and good quality fresh fruit and veg.
This is a well kept and welcoming haven for those who respect the beauty of rural retreats and home cooking.
