Absolutely incredible place, delicious food and service second to none! Couldn't fault the place at all, food was so good but the service absolutely made it for me, so attentive and polite. Will definitely be coming back!
We had a family meal tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it! Food was fantastic, hot and very tasty. The staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back again soon and will certainly recommend to our friends.
Up here working and I stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. Was absolutely blown away by the quality and flavour of the Lamb Lawa. It was medium spicy but the depth of flavour was another level.
The owner was very friendly and you can see why this restaurant has been open for 40 years!!
Definitely coming back when I am next up here.
I've always enjoyed eating there - I find the [Indian] food good, freshly prepared in the kitchen, which you can see into. Well priced. Waiting staff helpful - though no decaf. coffee! The owner, British Indian, serves in the bar, is fascinating on current topics of mutual interest in the world.
A group of 4 of us stayed in an AirBnB nearby, we cannot fault this restaurant. Food was spot on and staff were excellent I would 100% recommend if you fancy a nice meal out. Only thing that could change would be the taste of the cobra on tap, give them the benefit of the doubt they changed the pints for us as they'd just changed the barrel. Book in advance as they are very busy. Spot on :)
We've eaten here a couple of times now and I can say with confidence that this is one hell of a curry house. All the food came quickly and was delicious, four of us ate and we were all very happy with the food we got. Definitely eating here again.
Tasty renowned dishes and friendly staff
Nice pub to head to for a drink with a real fire, and the food is always fresh and really tasty whether it’s takeaway or dining in! Staff are also very friendly and welcoming, would recommend.
Amazing food and service !!! Absolutely would repeat 1 million times .
Spur of the moment choice when visiting a local friend. They'd heard of it again recently as a recommendation & not been in over 20 year's. I love Indian food. Jobs a good un 👍
TBF, very quiet Monday night, no worries at getting a table (how is this place ever quiet I have no idea, but we'll get to that).
I'm a coeliac, so I'm used to explaining this, mentioned it & was immediately put at ease by the understanding & explanation on what was gluten containing on the menu.
My friend ordered a vegetable biriani & after a chat I ordered a lamb jalfrezi. Now I'm fussy with lamb & generally have a chicken jalfrezi as my go to meal for somewhere I've not eaten before. After a discussion & assurance that the lamb was worth it I placed my trust in him & had the lamb.
OK, excuse my language, but OMFG was it worth it 😍😋💞😂. Be still my beating heart ♥. To cut the waffle, without doubt the tastiest & most delicious lamb jalfrezi I've ever had 😍😋😍.
My friend said that they also couldn't believe how good they're biriani was. Food this good almost should be illegal 😂
Already decided that next time I visit, we're going back for a meal.
This place is a total hidden gem 💎
Utterly recommend a meal here 💯 ❤️
Visiting Shrewsbury from Scotland and would definitely recommend Bharut, we stumbled across the restaurant while having visited the Ice Cream Parlour across the road but so glad we did. Kids shared a Korma while the missus had the Madras and I had my usual Khori. Food was superb!!
The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional. Individual attention given to everyone making it a first class place to dine. Can't wait to go again.
