Thai Basil

Very good food overall and excellent hot tea and Thai iced tea. The green curry was sweeter than I expected but still very good. The accompanying rice serving was not nearly enough for the amount of curry. A second serving was reasonably priced, but would be nice to have enough by default. The drunken noodle was also very good, with perfectly cooked noodles and a very generous serving.

Hey all, I literally never do this but if you don’t LOVE sugar please go somewhere else. I have never in my life had a green Thai “curry” this sweet. It was on par with how sweet the sesame chicken my children ordered is. I am positive that a cup of sugar per serving is not the traditional form of this dish. Usually green curry is savory and a touch sweet from the coconut milk not straight up saccharine. If you don’t have an out of control sweet tooth and actually want authentic Thai food don’t order here.

What heck is going on at this place? My wife and I went to dine-in and they were friendly enough. Things started off weird when we asked for water and said they only had bottled… so we ordered a tea and soda. The soda tasted odd… can’t really describe how. And they were in to-go soup containers?? We looked past it and then ordered our food. The soup came out in a to-go container. And then the egg rolls in a styrofoam container. And then they brought us foam plates with our to-go containers of our entrees.... To the food... The others that have stated how bad the pad Thai is are correct. It’s terrible. It’s just sweet bright orange noodles. The pad see ‘lew’ was watery, the sauce tasted good, but was tooooo thin. It was like soup. The tofu was over cooked and chewy. My wife had to cut it with a knife.... The pad see lew smelled terrible on the drive home we tossed it. And just look at our table... So much plastic. Dining in should not be like this. Never returning.

Literally the worse Panang Curry I’ve ever tasted in my life. If you know what REAL Panang is, then stay away from this place. In fact, it doesn’t matter what kind of curry you get from this place. It’s all watered down and lacking in flavour. On my last order I called to order for take out and the man said that it was going to be ready in 5 minutes. 5 minutes?!! That should have told me everything I needed to know. You’re not about to get an authentic Thai experience from a “curry” prepared in only 5 minutes. I know what authentic Thai Curry is supposed to taste like and I know the texture. If you want to go and pay $17 for fake curry, then that’s your business. YOU WERE WARNED.
