Absolutely stunning for everything including great quality standard of the food, service and atmosphere. The genuine hospitality and friendly approach of the bartender really amazed me especially during such a busy time in the evening where he constantly ran from one side of the bar to the other making sure every customer is attended to quickly.
Had Tesco vouchers to use up and visited here at 5.30pm. Dog friendly and staff attentive and constantly checking all OK and if wanting more drinks. Food was very good and well presented. Tomato and Tapenade Bruscetta and Salt and Pepper Squid starters. Mixed Grill and Seafood Grill special for main.
Great location for scenic relaxation - both out on the riverbank and inside the historic buildings. Sunday lunch options were solid and the Korean Chicken Duo was tasty. Helpful servers too.

Lovely little snack food although the mains can be hit or miss. A smidge on the pricey side too. Made up for by a gorgeous view of the river in a peaceful beer garden. Service is pretty good too.
A nice pub by the river, good selection of drinks, popped in midweek for a family meal. The service was good, the choice of food was your standard pub fair. I fancied a burger, it was quite expensive and I found the patty wasn't that great for the price, so a little disappointed there. Overall though a pleasant daytime treat.
Great place for food, although portion sizes and menu choices have greatly reduced over the last couple of years. Wouldn't be my first choice in the colder weather, for this very reason. Becoming part of a chain has spoiled its uniqueness in my opinion
A great venue by the river. Really nice selection of food on the menu and helpful staff made for an enjoyable evening out by the river. Entertaining ducks and geese.
Lovely roast dinner. Beef and turkey. Nice staff. Friendly girls who served us. Always smiling. Really nice Chocolate Brownie and white chocolate dessert from special board. Will return soon. Thank you. 😁
