If you’re looking for a dog-friendly beach all year round, Livermore Sands is right next door, go there instead. It’s maybe 8 minutes walk away. It’s not a huge beach either, but dog-friendly.

Often come here to pay homage to the gun crews who gave so that we could live, and to look at the amazing 360° views. Sat here for the airshow on Sunday last and was not disappointed. Pity the toilets were locked though. One disabled toilet to serve everybody who went to the head (huh, nice) was not enough.

Great place to sit and chill with a view. The wind seems to pick up here so the breeze is lovely on a hot day. Peaceful area just moments away from the beach
