We had not been here before but wanted to take friends out for lunch in the area and so put our faith in the reviews. This was not misplaced. We very much enjoyed the Assiettes menu and took advantage of current offer. All the plates we ordered were excellent - hard to pick a favourite but the carpaccio was outstanding and so was the pork belly, crab arancini and roasted cauliflower steak. We were very well looked after by welcoming, friendly and flexible staff. Very happy to strongly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

We had the most amazing meal on Friday evening at the Brasserie at the Bay. The chef created some very intricate dishes .. full of flavour. We opted for the short tasting menu as our table was booked for 7:30pm we were unable to have the full tasting menu… you have to be there by 7pm for the full tasting menu. The short tasting menu was very reasonably priced at £55 with accompanying optional wine flight at just £25 which again was priced very reasonably. We had set our heart on having scallops to start so the kindly added this in as the second course of the tasting menu. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There are 14 boutique rooms available for overnight stays ….. we were shown round a couple of those that were vacant. They are fitted out to a very high standard. There is also one dog friendly room in the basement. Well worth a visit !

Gorgeous little find! Food was really very good. Very intimate place for dinner, lovely presentation of food and fantastic staff, very attentive and tried to assist us with an allergy (hence no jus on the lamb pic). Good selection of alcoholic drinks, cocktails and wines. Will be back and so glad I found it.

Everything and everybody were spot on from start to finish; I rarely ever say that a dining experience was faultless but in this case I’m delighted to say it. The menu read very well, lots of exciting dishes and flavours, but combinations were well thought out and elegantly plated & dressed. This place deserves to be full every night with cooking and service as good as this…. I’d say it matches or beats several 1 star dining experiences I’ve had and it’s half the price !! Go and eat there now before it gets “discovered”. I had the courgette flower, Brixham pollock & rhubarb by the way.

Goujon and give it a go! From walking in the door to leaving was impeccable. Had the tapas-y lunch menu and was insanely good but also reasonably priced. Head waitress and waiter were welcoming, approachable and attentive. Enjoy this hidden gem before its mega.

We had an evening here with friends. Staff were friendly and attentive from the outset. It's a pleasant comfortable room. Our food was good though some of the accoutrements were over seasoned. ( the chicken crumb on the parfait starter and the seaweed crisp on the halibut). Saying that, the rest of the food was good.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are tastefully designed and very comfortable with reasonable rates. We loved our room with a private terrace. The restaurant was a real delightful experience! The food was high quality and delicious! All of the staff are very warm, friendly and accommodating! Especially Marcio! We asked to meet the chef who cooked our meals on the night we dined, Andy was such a lovely man and humble despite his obvious skills and attention to detail in the kitchen. I would recommend anyone to stay and dine here, you will not be disappointed!! ❤
