Harbour16

I booked H16 for a works meal after being let down by another local restaurant and they were fab from the start, the young man I spoke to on the phone the day I made my booking advised he wasn’t sure they could accommodate such a large booking but would have someone call me back and just a couple of hours later Liv called me back and confirmed it was all booked in! We preordered as much as possible but even the few who hadn’t preordered were able to order on the evening with no fuss! The communication leading up to and throughout was excellent and they staff were very attentive checking back regularly and taking drinks orders! The cocktails & wine were divine! The food was delicious and considering there was so many of us we all had a meals at the same time! The atmosphere was great & there is a lovely outside space too overlooking the harbour! Thank you for having us H16 and we will be back (if you’ll have us!) 🤍

Tried here for the first time as wasn't open the last time we were in Torquay, it came highly recommended we were not disappointed, the staff are very friendly and the menu was second to none, the food was excellent and all locally sourced, I had a steak and it just melted in your mouth, my partner had a H16 burger and he thoroughly enjoyed it, we decided to book for Sunday lunch as well and it was amazing it will now be our go to venue for food whenever we are down that way - Book in advance to avoid disappointment - Top marks for all the staff. Next time i will take photos of the delicious food

Definitely the gem of Torquay upmarket dining a concise and professional menu that absolutely shines with what it has to offer from the perfectly cooked ribeye (celeriac puree was out of this world) generous souvlaki portion to the belly busting burgers. Will’s service was top class with great humour, menu knowledge and professionalism whilst not overdoing the fine dining aspect and kept it casual which we liked and definitely preferred. Only slight nit pick any of us could find with the showstopper that is Harbour 16 was that it was very hot upstairs once at capacity but other than that it was a meal to remember.

Stopped here on the last night of our mini break, the food was top notch, absolutely incredible, fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. We had a selection of tapas, and then my hubby had a brownie for dessert, all of which was beautiful. Presentation is great too. The staff were friendly and attentive and "Marty Bear" just made the whole experience even better. Lighthearted banter that gave us both a giggle. Such a shame we wont have the opportunity to visit again before we leave or else we would do.
