Pre theatre meal for two. Great location, food and service. Music was a bit too loud
Busy Truro restaurant specialising in fish (as the name implies). Comfortable atmosphere, excellent fish & steak was fine.
This small excellent seafood restaurant could be easily overlooked. Tucked away in a side street. The decor is fashionably sparse.
The food was very good.
I had the hake Wellington, good pastry and the fish within was perfectly cooked. A butter sauce was provided.
The rest of the table had the seafood platter, a good mix of the local catch. The mussels and scallops were perfectly cooked.
The desserts were large and well presented. The '' cream tea dessert was clever and looked great. I had the sticky toffee pudding, the sponge was a little dry, good amount of sauce and ice cream helped. The service was understated and friendly, perfect for me. Quite pricey but worth it.
