A gem of a find. We didn’t fancy eating in any of the pubs in Ullapool so called twice here on our way back through town. Delicious fresh seafood menu that changes daily and reasonable prices. Highly recommended! Sea trout and oat crumbed mackerel were amazing.

Absolutely delicious! great menu choice. If you’re doing the NC500 this’ll be the best you’ll eat on the route. Great set up. Loved there was a gin bar while we waited shame it was a small plastic cup only negative.

Overall the seafood shack is a great place to eat although there is limited table space and you can either sit on the benches provided until a table becomes available. If you have kids that are fussy eaters it is probably not the best place to take them. The food is delicious and well worth a try. I gave it four stars because the staff could be more inviting and engaging, I give credit to the fact they are busy and are working really hard but it does feel like you are just being processed. There is good background music to help with the atmosphere of the place and covered area provides a nice environment.
