We regularly get a takeaway from the Lucky House and really enjoy it. It's worth driving 20 miles for a treat. I have given it 5 stars for atmosphere because I am not prepared to mark it down. Not sure why a takeaway would need to have an atmosphere? We love the food.

Great little find visited three times while on holiday up here. Great food and young guy behind till was very pleasant and friendly.

Its a chinese takeaway so it's not like there loads of chat and banter.. Young lad behind counter was friendly and efficient, too our order no problem.
Food was lovely and slightly different to my own local Chinese which is great as no 2 should be the same.
Only down point is it was Cash only.. only a 2 min walk to tesco cashpoint though..

Food was gorgeous, had the honey chilli shredded chicken with egg fried rice. Would love to go again but live 8 hours away 😂

Open when everything else was shut on January 2nd at 8pm. Had a tasty takeaway with friendly staff and lots of parking. Right next door to Tesco’s.

Had a very nice sweet & sour chicken. Very generous portion which was enough for two. In my experience, the negative reviews are unjustified.

Significantly better than most reviews will have you believe. Perfectly tasty and fresh. Good size portions and gave us some great gravy for free.

Must say that having read some reviews We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely the food was. The only complaint I have was there was too much. Well done
