I had the darjeeling chicken and it was really good. The service and atmosphere was like so many other Indian restaurants, not seen as important.

We didn't have high expectations as we walked in. However, we all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Vegan food was great - very tasty and perfectly spicy. Sorry i cant remember dish name - it was the spicy vegan one. One had a garick chilli chicken ' hot, spicy and perfect. Good service. So glad we went in. Highly recommended - well worth going. But, remember to take your own alcohol (they are not licensed).

What a great little find this Indian is, food is fantastic and service was excellent. They don't have a drinks licence but you can take your own if required and please note they only accept cash

I really enjoyed the food here! I was a bit apprehensive after seeing the bad reviews here, but SO glad I went here for dinner as it was delicious! The staff were friendly and recommended me and my husband some spicy dishes (which we were looking for) that we really enjoyed. We ordered the lamb jalapani and chicken royal - super tasty and spicy as well as the garlic naan which was so soft, fluffy and a perfect for dipping into the curries! Would totally come here again if we are back in the area.

Don’t believe the negative reviews, honestly.
My wife and I are Indian food fans and we were traveling through and gave it a shot despite the low score and reviews…and such GREAT FOOD and service!
Yes, it’s cash only. No big deal since there is a cash machine close by.
Lovely hostesses were attentive, kind, and helpful!
I asked for a spicy curry that was not sweet. He presented me two recommendations and definitely had to get both! Wow, so good and spicy!
We also got the poppadoms, boiled rice, garlic naan ( which was delicious, not dry at all like previous reviews ) and the royal chicken (spicy) and Lamb jalapani (real spicy).
i feel like the best bet is asking for recommendations based upon what you are looking for. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable ❤️🙏
If we ever head back in the region we will definitely come by 😊

Don’t look into the negative reviews too much, we stayed at the campsite near the restaurant and ordered a takeaway from this place. I have to say it was one of the nicest currys I’ve eaten, my wife said the same about her dish. We telephoned the restaurant and they said to collect 40mins later, I wandered over after 35 mins and collected the meal, no waiting ,

Awesome Indian food in Ullapool. Loved the dishes we ordered. We ordered garlic naan, matar paneer, aloo gobi, kofta sabji, tarka dal and rice. The dishes were excellent. Highly recommended.
