Lovely Tuna Mayo jacket potato
with home made coleslaw and side salad, waffle with toffee sauce and a lovely pot of organic green tea with lemon. Not a lot of places stock organic speciality teas on the island so this pleased me straight away. Sitting in yesteryear retro, very authentic and friendly atmosphere. Hope this is a permanent café. We'll certainly be regular customers,

Lovely unique little place on the beachfront. Enjoyed a pot of tea and the best slice of warmed Bread Pudding I've ever eaten. Steeped in nostalgia and war time paraphernalia with a comical twist. Would definitely go back there. Highly recommend *****
We stopped here for a drink and we're just taken back by the amazing vibe, décor and full on WW2 theme. We spotted a crab pasty on the menus so order it to share. We hadn't had crab before and I have to say, it was good in size, piping hot, flavourful and had a sweetness to it that just hit the craving spot. We were lucky enough to turn up when they had live music, again in tune with the WW2 theme. Will most definitely be back to sample more.of the menus and soak up the vibe. Staff were amazing, friendly and seemed like all they wanted to do was make our afternoon.
My two pals and I were on a bike tour around the IoW and stopped in Ventnor. This place is very subtle on the outside but is amazing on the inside. The toilet is like an air raid shelter!
Machine guns on the ceiling and bullets for light pull cords, it is a fascinating place to see.
The staff are ever so friendly and chatty. We all had a bacon baguette and a beer on the tables outside and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.
Highly recommended. There is parking along the front but is popular. There is a car park further up the road.
There is a single cubicle toilet (air raid shelter) and tables outside as well as inside. There is hand sanitiser and a small step on entry.
Hot chocolate with cream was a really great quality treat. Served in a novelty fox mug which was a lovely touch. The cfe is very eclectic inside. Definitely worth a stop!
A wonderful experience taking our family (including young daughter) to the tea room.
Welcoming atmosphere, fantastic staff and quirky theme. Food, drinks and ice cream were brilliant.
Thoroughly recommended. We will absolutely visit again before our holiday is over.
The place is WWII themed with lots of interesting items such as gas masks, vests and flags. Hosts were welcoming and the cafe was cosy and nice. It’s right at the front of beach so you get to enjoy nice snacks while having sea view. Prices were affordable and hygiene was impressive. Recommended if you’re in the area. Definitely 5 stars.
Had a lovely visit to the tea rooms today.
The food was lovely and very reasonably priced.
The décor is very nice and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
I can recommend the soup of the day and we had called to take away which were beautiful.
Really impressed with the layout inside of this busy cake shop. They have a large range of Coffee syrups which is hard to find in Ventnor and the rest of the Isle of Wight! Feels like going back in time with a beautiful Seaview. Cakes look really good, service is slightly slow however. But who's in a rush by the sea? 😀
What a lovely little gem in Ventnor. Excellent service and the decoration is so unique.
Great service, if you want to know about recent history of WW2 and take in some nostalgic info this is the place to go.
The afternoon tea at Lady Scarlett’s tearoom is nothing short of fabulous! With beautifully cut sandwiches stuffed with tasty fillings, melt in the mouth scones with lashings of home made jam and lovely cream, as well as gorgeous home made cakes, this team room is a must-go-to on the Isle of Wight. Thanks to Tony for feeding us so well and to Maeve and the team for excellent customer service - we loved our experience with you!
