A lovely warm welcome on a cold day for us and our dogs, ideal for our rendezvous with friends and after we'd all walked around grounds at Nostell Priory. Great choice of food including some smaller portion options an so reasonably priced, all served quickly. Dogs got some treats too. Wish it was our local. Good service and a friendly welcome is so often a rare thing but makes a big difference. We all live over an hour away in different directions but I'm sure we'll be back at some point. Thankyou!

The Scottish lady who is the manager is what hospitality is all about, kind, warm helpful knows her locals and wants to get to know new guests. Rest of the staff are like her too and the food is beautiful 😍

Good hearty food, I had braising steak with mash veg and dumpling, it was So tasty. Staff very friendly and down to earth, lots of very well behaved dogs in the bar too. Definitely my new go to place, well done All. My hubby had the XL meat feast type meal and loved it.

Popped in for a beer on the way home on May Bank Holiday weekend, as the roadside pubs in Ackworth were packed.
We thought that being only just off the beaten track that The White Horse might be a little quieter. It was busy, but not packed and plenty of room in the well appointed beer garden.
Friendly staff, two cask beers and choice of lagers and ciders on tap or in bottles.
Beautiful place for a pint on a warm, sunny day.
