Visited tonight for 2 Large Portions of Chips with salt and vinegar. Chatted briefly to the gentleman serving. Pleasant counter person and pleasant environment. Even a xmas tree . Service was quick. A very observational visit and to what I would call a basic chippy (chip shop); however based on first impressions. My personal score for Plaice '4' Taste is 10/10.

Surprisingly good, despite other locals suggesting otherwise! Lovely, large pieces of haddock & cod, freshly cooked and reasonably priced! Godfreys in Bushey might be 5*, but this is a close 4*.
