Giuseppe's Italian Ristorante

While visiting Wellington I had the chance to try Guissepes pizza. My parents have been telling me about it and how they're excited to have finally found an authentic pizzeria that reminded them of New Jersey. After devouring nearly 6 slices... I have to say the pizza is downright incredible. The owner was very friendly and talked with us while the pizza was finishing in the oven. The crust was just the right amount of crisp, seasoning was fantastic, and the wing sauce (we also ordered wings) was the perfect amount of heat. What really did it for me was the pizza sauce though. I'm not sure what the recipe is... I'm sure it's some special family recipe... but it had this really full, fresh flavor. It's hard to describe, but I'm thrilled my family has made this their go-to pizza place. Guiseppes would give any authentic New Jersey/New York pizzeria a real run for their money. It's local, family owned... it's the real deal.

I ordered a pizza, and when I came to pick it up, it wasn't ready. The woman who identified herself as the owner told me she didn't have an order from me. Rather than being helpful and apologetic she accused me giving her the wrong name. I explained that it was more likely that they had written my name down wrong than that I had given them my name incorrectly. She got upset with me and refused to sell me a pizza. I told her that I had already been waiting 45 minutes and had hungry children waiting. She reached for the phone and said she was calling the police if I didn't leave. I left speechless. I have no idea how they are in business.
