Arrived for diner. We were seated at a window that overlooked the harbor inlet. It was neat to watch the tide come in. Ordered Kolsh beer and swordfish special. The beer was good. The swordfish was a bit overcooked but had a good flavor. It was topped with crab bits that were very dry. The fish was placed on top of the mashed potatoes and green beans. This caused the potatoes to stick to the bottom of the fish. I would rather have had everything spaced apart. My friend ordered fried shrimp and sweet potato waffle fries. He said both were delicious. The waitress was very fast and friendly.

I asked a local where to go to get seafood at a great price and I was directed to Lord's Harborside Restaurant. It was a good choice. The do very good business, as it stayed packed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Large portions. deliciously prepared. They were kind enough to really cut open the lobster tails for my mother so she could eat them with ease. Nice gift shop inside.

Good vibe. Friendly staffs, my waiter is Mark, he works fast and responsive. Excellent, fresh food and the price is the most cheapo for lobsters platter I’ve ever had (compared to Boston, Cali and Virginia)!!! My order is Maine Shore Dinner with corn on the cob, french fries and a cup of (real) clam chowder and it goes really good with a glass of Atlantic Blubbery 🤤🤤🤤 Thank you for serving the quality food and services.

6/21/22 was our first time eating at Hobbs, and it certainly won't be the last. Our table ordered two Lakewood Seafood Pies and a Seafood Sampler (mine), all with sides of coleslaw and roasted potatoes. It was very, very good, and nice portions for the prices. Their menu looks diverse enough for everyone.
We loved the view, and appreciated that they seat guests at window tables as soon as they open up. We also loved how bright the restaurant is. We were told a 20 minute wait but did not have to wait that long at 5:30ish; we took advantage of the nice weather and sat on the patio while we waited. Our waitress was wonderful.
It was an all-around great dining experience, and is our new favorite place!

Wonderful Maine seafood restaurant. Breaded haddock cooked to perfection. Other diners raved about surf-and-turf, and combo platter. Bar has a good selection of local craft beer.
Casual dining atmosphere with pleasant water views. Knowledgeable and attentive staff.
Overall quality and portion size make the prices very reasonable. Two of us took leftovers home.

Best lobster and seafood platter my wife and I have ever had. My wife said the 3 pound lobster was cooked to perfection! It's 2 1/2 hours from where we live and we will be going back, well worth the trip! The Clam Chowder was awesome too, GREAT CHEAF!

We arrived right at 11:30 when they opened. The restaurant was prepped, the servers were in their uniforms, and I didn’t see a single server on their phones. Very professional.
The waitress was very pleasant and formal. They gave us the price of the specials when they said them, which was nice to know.
My parents both had the fish and chips special. “It was amazing! The best haddock I’ve ever had with fish and chips!” The fish was super nice and flaky, and the breading was thin and crispy so you could taste the fish through the breading (not a fishy taste though, good fish taste). The breading wasn’t soaking in oil, and didn’t feel greasy to the touch.
The fries were also nice and crispy, although there was one ice cold fry on my mother’s plate which was surprising. The rest of them were scalding hot and fresh from the fryer though, so the cold fry was acceptable haha.
I had the mac and cheese, plain, with the breadcrumbs on top. The menu only lists vegetable, chicken, or one other mac and cheese option, but the waitress informed me that I could have it without. It was great, there wasn’t quite enough of the cheese but I’m just being picky. It was delicious and filling.
