Not impressed. I ordered the seafood platter with broiled salmon, stuffed shrimp and scallops. All of the fish was over cooked and the stuffing looked like it had been around for a VERY long time. Also ordered a raspberry tea that had an odd aftertaste - might have been the water. All in all, it’s your typical coast of Maine tourist seafood place. Note to self - don’t go back to this one! Should have known by the lack of cars in the lot!

My sister and her boyfriend took me here for lunch. The place is cute and quaint. The main reason for us being here was the clam chowder and the 2 foot lobster rolls. The clam.chowder was piping hot and chunky with clams. At first we were told after placing our lobster orders that the shipment didn't come in today. Just as we were going to leave we were told that the lobsters arrived! So we got 1 2-foot butter lobster roll and 1 2-foot cold lobster roll. Hands down best food I've had in a long time. We also got mussels that were really good.

Denise was so fantastic! She made our time at the B&C amazing. The baked haddock special, the pork chop special, and never ending soup and salad did us in so fast with the best ingredients! It wasn't even just the tons of fresh prepared ingredients but also the potato salad, hard boiled eggs, pasta salad, etc. It was incredible! I'd recommend this to anyone! There's something for everyone!

First time here, had fried scallops and hubby had fried Whole belly clams. Absolutely delicious!! In his words “never had better” - this is a meal that we have as often as we are anywhere that serves good fish. Portions were very large. Rolls are complimentary and they are delicious and they kept them coming during our meal. Service was great (our server was Cindy and she was as amazing as the food quality and portions).

Cute ‘grandma’s house in the country’ atmosphere, but the food was sub par. Nothing had salt, everything was bland (I ordered salmon, my folks ordered steak, and my sisters spaghetti and meatballs and fish and chips). The fish and chips were really nicely fried, but unfortunately that was all that was good. The nonalcoholic mixed drinks we ordered also tasted like pure syrup and were so sugary they were impossible to finish. Our waitress being so sweet is the only reason I’m doing two stars instead of one. Wouldn’t recommend.
