Friendly and welcoming landlord and staff. Good pub food with generous portions. A very welcome break on the drive home from Bristol airport. Highly recommended.

Had been wanting to try this pub for a while, greeting and staff were friendly. The menu was lovely and reasonably priced. Gluten free options not marked but ask on arrival and the staff will let you know. Food was lovely and good value

Mike and Jackie run a well oiled machine. Their many years of experience in this family run pub means you can expect and receive a genuine and pleasant experience. The menu is good and they stick to what they know. The welcome is 'second to none' and that experience runs right throughout your time with them. Friendly atmosphere and the food tastes fab. Renowned for excellent beers and my hubby says "you won't get a better pint of otter anywhere."

I went with my mum and boyfriend on the evening the 26th September. The staff working on that shift were wonderful. They were very attentive and friendly. The food was also delicious and there was good selection of dishes on the menu.

Friendly and cosy pub. The food was hot and flavoursome. The children were well catered for, particularly enjoying the scampi. It opens at 7pm on Saturdays, already half full by 7.05. Despite the convenience (3 mins walk from our holiday let) it was also a nice place to come.
