Morrisons Wells Cafe

The store has a nice layout and is very spacious but the last couple of times shopping, they were quite low on stock. They had very little variety of meats on show and we had to ask at the meat counter for a pork joint. The lady serving seemed stressed and busy even though there was no one else waiting. They were also low on veg and tomatoes. The car park is always very busy even though store is not, and have to wait for a parking space.

Like this store. Clean well laid out recently relaid car parking with child bays. Isles well spaced and good range of products. Fish counter is particularly good and best of any local supermarkets. Store is well laid out and you don't seem to be fighting staff filling shelves or click and collect trollies who block and crowd the isle. Even though there can be lots of people in the store your not stressed by log jambs of people. Not yet met a misserable member of staff. Quite the contrary they have all been very nice. Good bargains to boot and good fresh produce. Update: prompted to update so not much has changed but prices are not competitive with Tesco nor, I'm sad to say, is the quality of the veg. All the Broccoli was going yellow, carrots soft as were leaks. Cauliflowers the size of cricket balls for over a pound. Not fresh either. Sign of the times I guess, turn over not so fast costs go up turnover falls. Dropping a star I'm afraid. Everything else is much the same.

To the lady at the deli counter yesterday Friday 19th May. I asked for cutlery and the young lady with out hesitation read out the calories to me. Obviously I didn't ask for the calories, but she so kindly found them on the back for me. She then showed me to the cutler. It was a delight to be given such customer service, for some thing so small. Keep doing a great job. I'm sorry I didn't get your name. Also Morrisons, thanks for bread that isn't cardboard 🥖❤️
