Had a few visits here over the last week. Been very well looked after by the staff. The food was fantastic. Very good food, very generous portions and very reasonably priced. Was really handy for us staying at nearby campsite. However, only a short trip out from Whitby too.

The best lamb chops I've had in a long time! Superb food and very ample portions! Really friendly place and very dog friendly. You do need to book as, not surprisingly, they are very busy. But not at all cramped. Absolutely recommend!
Stunning. The food was absolutely delicious.
We had starters of crisp mushrooms and fried brie! Our mains were steak pie and chicken in peppercorn sauce.
Food was lovely and hot, the service was efficient. The bar tender was so welcoming and friendly.
Astomsphere was warm and friendly. Very busy you may need to book.

It's in a quiet spot with parking. Rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Great breakfast. Got settled in my room and went downstairs for a pint and met up with other holiday makers and had a good evening. Highly recommend the hotel.
Our first visit here was about 10 years ago to the pub and restaurant when we were camping nearby. The owners have always provided a first class experience. Over the years it has been renovated made over in a spectacular manner. This has got to be one of the best little b&b's we have stayed in. You would have to be a Norton to find much wrong with anything.
We had a meal.here.on Thursday the 10th.Aug and it was lovely. Not only did it taste fantastic ( I had the parno chicken) but there was masses of it and loads of veggies and chips. The server was lovely and friendly. I would recommend that people make the short journey out of Whitby to eat here because it will be delicious
We didn't stay in the rooms but ate in the pub twice. The food was absolutely gorgeous and great value. They're portion sizes were big and the food was cooked to perfection.
Really nice, brand new dining room, went for Sunday lunch all freshly cooked food, fresh vegs, really pleasant staff, good service. Would definitely go back

We stayed here overnight very friendly atmosphere very quiet and lovely village . The place was immaculate very clean and tastefully decorated.
