The restaurant was recommended by the airbnb host. The outdoor seats were nice and with bright nature light. Was a bit sad we’d been moved to the indoor seats due to dripping from the roof.
The foods were overall above average. My friends and I especially enjoyed the prawn linguine. It was prepared with proper spicy seasoning, making it more flavorful. The cheese pizza was also great.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable and the food quality is high. Recommend to all.
This restaurant is located perfectly for our Guest House. Lovely food and drink at reasonable prices, fast service by friendly staff. They are very popular, therefore they don't accept bookings. Get there early to avoid disappointment, well worth a visit.
The restaurant was in my list but Its a busy restaurant so be prepared to wait. Outdoor seating has over head heaters too. Very centrally located.

It was late afternoon on a thursday. But the service was great, food was amazing. Had a Tagliatelle Carbonara, and had to ask for bread to clean the bowl of the sauce. Wasn't too wet, just too much to waste. Paid £31 for Carbonara, bread and 2x pints of Perona so pretty reasonable. Decent music. Only thing i'd say, is with no breeze, the upstairs balcony gets very warm. (It was over 25° and cloudy all day). Recommend if you like your Italian food.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was great, the waiters and waitresses were all very attentive dispite the restaurant being busy. I ordered the mozzarella salad and it was very delicious. I would definitely order it again. Very impressed with the place, great experience.
Been a little while since we've been here... however today's experience did not disappoint... although the drinks felt a little expensive... £6.95 a pint and £12.95 a cocktail... the food was stunning and priced well for the location... my wife's pasta was the nicest she's ever had... and Gluten free which can be a little difficult to find good food that's Gluten free.
Great food and lovely service, the staff were really friendly and attentive. Food came very quickly and was delicious.
We ate here last night as we're staying just down the road and it was perfect. We sat upstairs on the heated balcony. The waiter was very friendly with great personality who made you feel like you were in Italy. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and very quick to the table. The wine was beautiful and well worth the visit if you're in the area.
We ate here twice during our two week holiday in the Lake District, this tells you how good this Italian restaurant is, because I never eat twice in the same restaurant while on holiday.
Everything about this Italian restaurant is lovely and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the lake district and if we are back in the area we would definitely eat here again.
