Beautiful cafe in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. Fantastic food, excellent quality, generous portion and great value. The owner is a brilliant chef and the two gentlemen who were serving were so professional, friendly and efficient. They made is so welcome. We had a jacket potato each which was exceptionally tasty and was served with a really tasty side salad. We had a pot of tea and a pot of camomile tea which came with extra water to top up. An absolute jewel of a place, which we’ve visited many times over the last 25 years. The tastiest, best value for money and friendly place you’ll find in the Lake District. Can’t wait to come back. Visited Windermere yesterday and was looking for somewhere for lunch.
We were so glad to find this place.Meals were good portions and very reasonable priced.
Staff were very friendly and service was quick and efficient.
Definitely would visit again if in the area.

Excellent meals I had Cumberland sausages eggs and chips my wife had chicken salad with chips we both had sticky toffee pudding. Yummy 😋

Found this cafe on the morning we was leaving bowness. It was the best food we had all weekend. Will defo go again next time we visit. .Food was great and it was served by a lovely lady . Could not fault a thing. 10/10
