We are now regulars for Sunday lunch because it is superb! The choice of meat, size of plate (sm, med & lge), vegetables and potatoes are cooked amazingly. The price is very reasonable and staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend The Northfield to anyone. Maggie x

Stayed at Withernsea last week and used this restaurant twice. On both occasions the food was excellent, with good vegetarian options. Also the meals were very good value for money, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

The saying don't judge a book by it's cover springs to mind while stood outside. Having read the reviews we took the opportunity to try for ourselves. Excellent service and really good quality home cooked food. Would certainly visit again when next in the area. Wished I had taken some photos.

Lovely meal for two last night. Waitresses all nice and polite. Shame on the one customer that reduced one to them to tears. That's so not on. Check your reaction / attitude buttons out lady. need.

Went for Sunday lunch today. Absolutely outstanding. Food was first class. Piping.hot. as was plates and serving dishes. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure. Compliments to the chef. .
