Hong Kong Take Away

To the person that commented about the guy behind the counter...he's hilarious..I've been going for fourty plus years now..he doesn't need better people skills,you need to lighten up...excellent food served with tongue in cheek humour/mild abuse,you walk out smiling...not everybody gets it...but they have a fanbase where they don't require everybody to...waiting times prove that.

Here on holiday and decided on this place for a takeaway. To be honest the food was good, we had duck with pancakes, lemon chicken and beef in noodles, chips, egg fried rice and curry sauce. The portions were generous and all the food tasted fresh. It loses a star for the poor customer service as the chap was quite rude

I have been going to this place for over 40 years 36p Curry Rice and Chips was a lunchtime staple from 79 to 81. I have never had a bad meal or bad service here sure there are dishes not to my taste but that's my preference not quality. There seem to be a lot of keyboard warriors putting overly negative reviews here now. If the food is bad take it back uneaten and talk to them in a polite and civilised manner, that way they can resolve your problems. Maybe I'm an old cynic or is it down to the Kevin's and Karen's of the world where nothing is good enough for your delicate little sensibilities. I'm sure this will split opinion which is always good fun.
