even though they had stopped serving the carvery and we were a party of 6, Ian went out of his way to make us welcome, Food and service were great, Will not have a problem returning.
So next time you are on your way into Yeovil or are heading back to Dorchester, call in and give it a try (it is a lot bigger than it looks) large car park outside tables

A really lovely pub with very welcoming and accommodating staff. A perfect and secure place to stay with the motorhome. Large grassed area with night lights for the dog to exercise. A very comfortable safe place for an overnight stay

We drove past and both saw the board outside advertising 2 steaks for £25.
On our way home we stopped and was pleased to hear the food was still being served.
Very friendly welcome, considering we were very casually dressed as not planning to go to a restaurant, The staff were all very kind and chatty. We had a rump steak each and it was so tasty, perfectly cooked, and the right amount of chips, peas and mushrooms.
It was unplanned but we will definitely Go back.

Called in on our way home for an evening meal. Quiet night for them but the food and service was excellent. Enjoyed the food that much, forgot to take a photo of the main, but the empty plate says it all!

Went for Xmas dinner with the family. Phenomenal service, food was quick and cooked to perfection.
I live in Yeovil and this is my 1st time here. I tell you now it will not be my last.

A warm welcome and lovely food! Went up for the Friday night fish and chip buffet on Aug 5 at 7pm. Lots of food options (inc a veggie burger done just for us) which was all really tasty. Great value for money and we won't hesitate to go again and recommend to others.

Absolutely fantastic. This pub was just down the road from where we were staying. Went two nights in a row. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend all you can eat curry night on a Saturday. Such lovely staff too.

We stopped at the Red House for lunch today and it was amazing! We had some fantastic baguettes and the beer was great!
Not only the food was great so was the staff, they were all so helpful and friendly.
The pub itself is very attractive and decorated really well.
Definitely will be back!

One of the best roast dinners I've had for a while. The choice of meats was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the dessert I had was great also. I would highly recommend the red House to anyone. The only thing I'd suggest to the red House was to provide bigger plates, the Yorkshire pudding filled half the plate.
