Having moved to the North west of Yeovil from the South east, we haven’t had takeaway chippie for ages. We’ve just had our first takeaway from Wessex Road. It will not be our last. I’d go so far as to say it’s the best chip shop chips I have ever eaten (And I’ve eaten a lot of chips shop chips in my time). Not overly greasy, nice and crispy, the batter on the sausages was light and crispy and the curry sauce almost decadent in its thick consistency. Absolutely elite!

All the fish is cooked fresh - well worth the slight wait. Staff are friendly, helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. Mushy peas are not to my taste, but other than that highly recommended!

Best fish and chips bar none, nice crispy batter on the fish, plenty of chips (even on small portion), and the best burgers I've had. Keep up the good work and hope you can carry on in these hard times, well done!

The food, delicious delicious, DELICIOUS, cod bites were fresh with lovely batter - SCRUMPTIOUS! We decided to try the gourmet burgers, BEST burgers we have had in a long time ! - just mouth wateringly delicious, Chips were perfectly fried and side dishes were all very tasty! Just wish we lived closer as we live quite far away from this amazing Fish Bar, but looking forward to the next time we are in the area as we will certainly stop over for some more delicious food, the owners have also redone the store and it looks very clean and smart, the food is value for money and the owners are incredibly nice people as well as their staff - highly recommend this take away!!

First visit and the fish was absolutely delicious. Served very quickly. Good value for money. I enjoyed the chips but hubby said not quite "chip shop chips" for him. Will certainly revisit.
