This is the first time we've eaten in at Souvlaki GR.... And we loved it! The souvlaki and pastitsio were off the scale of terms of gorgeousness. With friendly staff and a simple menu, it reminded me of the genuine Greek eateries (ie, where actual locals eat, not the touristy places) in Greece. Admittedly it's considerably more pricey, but this was an evening out. It felt so genuine that I almost put my paper in the bin 🤣. Just back from my yearly pilgrimage to Kefalonia, and Souvlaki GR is satisfying those Hellenic cravings perfectly.

Authentic taste of Grease. Ever had the hankering for gyros since visiting the Greek Islands, well now you can fill your appetite in Yeovil. Good portion sizes, tasty food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Eat in or take out. I Will ill be going back.

One of my best experiences of having greek food in UK. It took me back to Greece. Fully recommended 10/10.

My chicken gyros was good! The lemon mayo really tied it together and the pitta bread was crisp around the edges.
The restaurant itself is lovely, clean, modern and open. I could imagine sitting down for a meal would be pleasant.
I've noticed a few reviews complimenting the customer service, however upon my visit the lone staff member barely said a word to me.

Excellent food, and lovely service. First day open and great already. We had the Skepasti chicken and Pork Souvlaki and both were delicious. We had the Humus to start which was also really good. Highly reccomended and a well deserved 5 stars.
