A must-visit when in York, Penny's Bespoke Foodhouse is a family-owned business that serves one of the tastiest full English breakfasts in town! There was a bit of a wait, but we didn't mind as the ambiance inside the restaurant was lovely. The waitstaff were also incredibly friendly and a good source for local sightseeing tips. Overall, it's a great place to fuel up (the portion sizes are quite generous!) before heading out for a full day of exploring.

Simply the best cafe in York. Penny and Cas are friendly, down to earth and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and good quality food. A great selection of food and drink choices too. I often go most weekends and highly recommend to anyone considering a visit. Whether solo or in a group, it's a great space for all!

The place is small but very cozy with nice staff. Good cappuccino and a hot chocolate (very huge and with marshmallows!) but most of all the English breakfast is amazing and at a good price too. It is absolutely freshly cooked, so tasty and in generous portions
