We had no reservation for this restaurant but they had a table to accommodate us when we walked in ,we chose the set dinner menu and it was very nice for the price.
The place had a nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff were pleasant and courteous.
We will definitely go back.

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant while sightseeing and I am so glad we did! We went at lunch time so it was quiet with only a couple of other tables in. The server was lovely from the get go :). The food was some of the best Italian food we've ever had. I had the lasagne and it was honestly the best lasagna I have ever had. I will 100% be going again next time we are in York!

We had the restaurant to ourselves which was surprising and also a shame. The decor is beautiful, the service was great, our meals were well presented and tasty (just way too much potatoes!).

Wonderful little restaurant in city centre. Easily accommodated for our large group of people. Food was prepared to our liking and served rather quickly, even though we were 14+ guests. Lasagna was delicious and appetisers utilised proper Italian meat and cheese. Pasta was also good. Kind staff was a good bonus.

Very intimate setting, small dining room but the tables aren’t too close so it feels very nice and cosy. The service is very attentive and the menu has a lot of verity. Beautiful! It was my birthday and my partner had requested a candle on a desert which the waitress brought over singing happy birthday. Can’t rate it highly enough, there’s lots of lovely places in York to eat. Make this one a priority.
