On our day out in York we bounced around several Cask Marque pubs and this one didn’t disappoint. Great ale and a very pleasant atmosphere. Belter!

Had a couple of drinks here, no food. Not easy to get to with access shut off along the way, so had to go into the station and around to get there, but was worth the effort. Beers were well kept and tasty

The pub quiz on a Weds night is great, it's all dog friendly and they have some ace drinks on tap. I've always wanted to try out the food vans out back during the summer, but never get a chance! Goals.

Oh my, I'm supposed to be moving in to the Holgate area very soon and I love that pub
Been coming for years, it is very traditional, it is such a friendly place for all sorts of families. The gardens outside are really nice, lots of room for children to play safely and dogs too. It is just outside of the city centre in York, so pleasant. Staff are always nice too, I cannot recommend this pub enough. I seriously hope it'll be my new local soon, moving from another area of York, please visit the Fox for good beers, affordable food and wines and a lively and lovely atmosphere!
