This is a very specific problem but the lighting in this pub is absolutely awful. The main bulbs are low energy cool white which makes all the rooms look sort of grey, and reminds me of sitting in sad student front rooms with the big light …
As good pubs go, The Fox must surely be up there with the best. Well worth the walk from the city centre. A shame no other pubs nearby are open lunchtime to compliment it. Beers all come from Ossett Brewery so no worries there. An absolute delight to have called in here
Fantastic pub just outside the town centre. Strangers are just as welcome as locals. Kids and dogs are welcomed warmly. It's a fab building with a big beer garden. But it's the staff that make it. Lovely staff who do their best to make your visit worth it.
