Lots of stuff to choose from, and a big electronics section with lots of testing areas to see what they can do. Quite relaxing and not over stressed experience. We always try and grab a coffee and chill a little. Loved the heart they put on the coffee, nice little touch. However must say the coffee was a little bitter, and maybe more options or more full bodied coffee should be an option

Just like to say that one of your employees working the the baby section was absolutely fantastic! We were looking at baby car seats for the first time and he managed to give us such a thorough introduction without overloading us with info or making us feel preasured at all. We both walked away saying how helpful it had been, thank you!

We had to take back a slightly damaged toaster that we bought the week before in York. Being the idiot that I am I had lost the receipt and without a receipt you have problems. But thanks to Olivia at customer services she was able to track the sale and sort it out for us. A replacement was soon found and we left a very happy couple. You dont get this kind of service in many places anymore so thank you Olivia and John Lewis.

Very easy to get to and everything you need all in one place. The staff in the electricals department were very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff at the ESPA counter could do with a bit more training, the attitude towards customers was a little off putting. The Filmore & Union cafe is nicely designed and the staff are friendly but the prices are a bit on the high side. A burrito sandwich cost over £5 and we really felt ripped off, the portions were a bit pathetic - we'll avoid the cafe next time.

Excellent customer service. It was my first shopping trip since having my baby daughter 2 weeks ago and I also had my 3 year old boy with me. The baby was crying and a very kind member of staff directed me to her office in the children's section to feed and settle her. It was much appreciated and meant I could enjoy the rest of my shopping stress free.

A really good John Lewis! Very large and has all the departments you need. My other half does click and collect, then tries it on in the changing room. Good job as the product was faulty, but customer services were brilliant and replaced it and ordered another to be delivered to us the next week. Great service and will be returning to buy a TV shortly.

The staff in the baby section of John Lewis are excellent, extremely knowledgeable and more than happy to give you the time of day to help work through complicated and often over whelming baby related purchases. I felt I had a good idea about car seats but the staff gave me some alternative ideas that were far better and which we ultimately went with. Their car seat fitting service is excellent as well, took all the time to make sure we understood how to fit and remove the seat to ensure our little one is safe in the car, very pleased. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
